Photo a Day - 9/27/05
This was taken on the road into a very small surf village called Pavones. Pavones is one of the Southern most points in Costa Rica, near the border of Panama on the Pacific side, and well known for having one of the longest lefts in the world. We spent a few days there with average to shitty surf, but on day three we scored with head-high perfect lefts wraping around the point. If you didn’t suck at surfing like me you could get rides for well over a minute long! Too bad we had to leave early the next morning when the conditions were even better. The surf was insane, but the school zone and school yard still stand out to me. I can’t wait to go back again!
