Photo A Day - 12/8/05
Myself, Trigger Gumm and Cameron Steele went on a Baja tour with Trail Boss Tours back in October, from Estero Beach down to La Paz. The Trail Boss led us through some of the roughest and most technical terrain in the world, from mountain passes and whooped-out roads, to windy paved roads and wideopen beaches. I’ve been to some pretty cool places in the years I’ve been riding, but nothing can match the sights of Baja on a dirt bike.
I shot this photo of Trigger about 2 miles south of Scorpion Bay, by way of open beach. The whale lookin’ thing that used to be a fishing boat is definitely something you would never see in the states. There are a couple other photos from the trip in the Motocross Photo Gallery.

[…] Came by this sight on my trail ride from Ensenada to La Paz last year. We stopped for tacos half way through the first day in some little town. This trailer was next door and I thought it was pretty random to have a sign for a skate pool in the middle of nowhere. I even looked around and there was nothing even close to a pool, let alone anything skateable in the area. I wonder where that trailer was parked when there was a new skate pool next to it? […]
