A New Look

cropley imagery ugly site
This is what it looked like an hour ago, minus the sweet green lettering.

I went from that^, to this new black & white style with Potter whippin’ it on the header. I like it. Now I will be happy and leave the site alone so I can concentrate on more important things…like photos, 401K’s, babes, work and text messaging.

I rode Beaumont early this morning before work with Garland, PAB and Moss. It was a good way to start off the day. More at etniesmotox.

I think I’m already sick of this ugly bright color scheme, especially the green links. I’m now in creative brainstorming mode…this may take a while…

Colour

Wednesday, March 29th, 2006

I got really bored with the old and ugly earth tone web site. So now I have a bright and uglier multicolored web site. Does anyone know the color # for puke? I think that would make a great background.

The Desert Assassins threw a b-day bash for about five different people last Sunday. Good times were had by all, except, maybe Slarf, who kicked his own ass…and yes, that is totally possible. Tons of incriminating photos from that night are on my Flickr page.

SCORE San Felipe 250
Thought this was a cool shot…

Who would have thought that on a short trip to San Felipe you could encounter just about every possible weather condition known to man? We had high winds, no winds, dust devils, temps from the 40’s to +80’s, torrential downpours, clear skies, partly cloudy, mostly cloudy, cloudy, sprinkles, mist, hail and even snow! Did I forget any? Booger was partyin’. The racing was sweet. The Desert Assassins didn’t do quite as well as we had hoped, and that should explain the lack of DA race photos. But it’s alright, I predict a DA win at the 500…you heard it here first. I saw about 20 near death’s at Zoo Road. What, you wanted proof? Check out all my 146 San Felipe 250 race photos. If you see something you like just contact me.

Heavy amounts of booze were consumed and I have the incriminating photos to prove it! I uploaded a crap load of them to my Flickr account. Check ‘em out! Maybe even sign up for an account, leave some comments and talk some shit!

Last week was a good riding week for me! First of all, we got a good amount of rain for the first time all season. Second, I haven’t been riding enough lately with work and other stuff. What else can you do the day after it rains except get off work and go ride! So , I dusted off my bike and headed out to Beaumont on Wednesday with friends Larry Badgwell, Matt Chapman from etnies, and Brit Adude and Mark Moss of ArsenalMX.com. The dirt was as good as it’s ever been out there, and we took full advantage of the chocolate cake dirt and clear skys by climbing every hill in sight and finding some crazy goat trails that even goats would be scared of.

So, Saturday came along and I get a call first thing in the morning, “Get up! We’re going to the Desert! (click)”. Hell, you don’t have to tell me twice! I was awake, loaded up and on my way to Ocotillo Wells with my friends Steve Anderson and Josh Abbott in no time flat. We found some awesome trails and plenty of crazy-ass cliff climbs that took up most of the day; but we did find time to pioneer a few new hits out in the middle of nowhere. Pictured is me throwin’ a mean one-legger off one of those fresh new lines. Notice the signature No Fear “CRAP” jersey! haha. Thanks to Steve for taking the shots of me and breaking in my new 70-200 f/2.8. There are a couple more shots on my Flickr page.
