Pretty in Pink dvd

This was taken on the road into a very small surf village called Pavones All Hat psp . Pavones

is one of the Southern most points in Costa Rica, near the border of Panama

on the Pacific side, and well known for having one of the longest lefts

RocknRolla hd in the world. We spent a few days there with average to shitty surf, but on day three we scored with head-high perfect lefts wraping around the point. If you didn’t suck at surfing like me you could get rides for well over a minute long! Too bad we had to leave early the next morning when the conditions were even better. The surf was insane, but the school zone and school yard still stand out to me. I can’t wait to go back again!

mud
Try backflipping a dirt bike with 30+ lbs.
of mud on it. Ox ‘tupid.

The two days before the final demo it rained non stop and turned the whole track to diarrhea. We thought there was no way to jump in those conditions, but some how on the day of the show it stopped raining and dried up the track a little bit. The track didn’t dry enough for it to be safe to jump, but it did dry enough for the promoter to think they should jump. So with some extra cash incentive, Ox and Garland decided to go for it and give the fans what they wanted - to see a backflip and maybe see someone crash

. They got both! Garland bailed on his first attempt at the jump, some how rag-dolled

out of it perfectly and continued riding. Ox test jumped the backflip ramp a few times and by the time he was felling comfortable to do a flip the bike had already accumulated a thick and heavy layer of mud. Anyone that has ridden a dirt bike in the mud knows it makes the bike a whole lot heavier and harder to maneuver, let alone do a backflip. Well Ox ain’t no pussy Last Hour video , he sacked up and hucked a few perfect flips and made about 10,000 new fans and the cover of the San Jose news paper

Last year I went down to Costa Rica to with Ox

, his lady Jessica, and Garland

. Ox and Garland were there to do freestyle demos at a local supercross race in San Jose for two weekends. They invited me to take photos and hang out and surf. Between the weekend shows, the weekdays were wide open, so we made the best of it and rented a 4×4 Suzuki and went up and down the pacific side of the coast surfing and relaxing.

We got back to San Jose for the show a day early so they could practice. The promoter had a clapped out KTM 250 and and even worse CR 250 Junior Pilot rip that they were supposed to ride. Ox and Garland rightfully refused to ride those and waited for some new Honda’s the next day. When they came Ox took a spin around the “Supercross” track and went over the bars

pretty bad from hitting a slippery spot over the tripple. He was fine and the night show ended up great. Costa Rican’s love motocross and treated us like rock stars. Ernesto Fonseca is from Costa Rica and his legend status over there is that of Michael Jordan in the US…crazy!

I think I’ll post some more photos from Costa Rica this week.
