Anaheim 3 was my first time ever shooting on the track at a Supercross. It was pretty damn cool to be down there next to the action! Plus, the photo possibilities open up quite a bit when you’re not drunk and getting kicked out of the stands by security for shooting photos in front of families and an even drunker, angry dad (true story). Sunday was spent recovering from limping around in the dirt all day Saturday with my injured hip, back and groin…thank god I saved some of those prescription pills! Super Bowl Sunday party? Not for me. Sunday Valium party? Just what the doctor ordered.
Anyways, the racing was great. Chad Reed was looking good and I thought he might have had a chance, but Stewart got him back and it just wasn’t to be for Reedy at A3. But I’m sure if you’re reading this then you probably follow Supercross and know what’s up, so I’ll spare you from my recap. Just enjoy the photos…
Note: Sometimes my photo gallery gets really slow (and annoying!), so I suggest clicking the “View as a slide show” link at the top of each gallery page (practice gallery & race gallery). It’ll pop up a flash slide show thingy which is really quick and way faster than clicking “next” through all the photos.
Also, another possibility is to go directly to my Flickr page where all the photos are hosted at…

I think now would be a good time for some wallpapers. Gimme a couple days to catch up and I’m on it.
Everyday since posting “100 Cool Motocross Photos on Flickr!” I’ve seen some new photos show up in my Bloglines from the Flickr photos tagged with “motocross” feed that I want to add to the list. But I can’t ’cause that would defeat the whole purpose of whatever it is, that it is, right? Right. So I guess I’ll just give y’all a heads up… subscribe to the Flickr motocross feed and be happy! Don’t know how? Learn how!

Inspired by the guys at The Hot Crew and their Top 100 skate photos, I put together this list of 100 cool motocross photos on Flickr. Although they all might not be magazine quality, they’re definitely still cool to check out. Enjoy.
A couple laps into the main event at the Jeremy McGrath Invitational, I was surprised to see Josh Grant bust out “The Bird” after passing some slower 450F riders that got a better start against his 250F. I don’t care what anyone says (blah blah blah, disrespectful, bad for the sport, immature, blah), I think that’s punk rock! The kid isn’t scared to race hard, bang bars (ie. his head-to-head race vs. Vuillemin), and even throw the one finger salute when necessary…you gotta respect that! Josh is definitely one of my favorite riders coming up! Keep it up.

…in the window display at Motoworld of El Cajon! My shots are the ones of Twitch and Deegan in the left and right large windows. I think the center photo is by Tedesco?
Thanks to Ian Mac for the heads up.
